Time is closing in on the Everest Marathon, however I have one last challenge to complete before setting off to Nepal! On the 3rd of May I am going to be running a marathon on a treadmill at the Bristol Ambulance Station!
There will be another treadmill next to mine and I am hoping that some of my colleagues will show their support by taking it in turns to run next to me! The more the merrier!
As well as being good practice for the Everest Marathon, I hope that the challenge will encourage more donations to Off The Record via my Local Giving page. I will also have some charity buckets nearby for collecting small change!
I am now in possession of the tickets for my fundraising evening on the 6th of May, so please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to make it! I will be selling the tickets at £12 each on a first come first served basis as unfortunately the venue only has a capacity of 80 people.
I have been gathering raffle prizes for the evening and I am delighted to say that we have had a great response from local organisations! There will be some fantastic prizes up for grabs!
That’s all for now, but I will be updating my blog on a regular basis in the build up to my Marathon Send Off and Fundraising night.
Now, time for some rest before a hard day of training again tomorrow!
